This years overview ...

Hi guys,

My Omega Collection hasn't increased much this year.

I sold my speedsonic.

I bought the following :-

a Memomatic ( NOS ) my Memomatic post

A Geneve Diver. I knew nothing about this watch, & bought it on a whim. It is MUCH smaller than most of the watches in my collection.

my Geneve Diver post

I took a recent pic of this watch next to a Speedy. I have polished the crystal with Brasso ( isn't that an amazing difference ! ). You can see how relatively small it is.

I bought a 752 powered Seamaster, that needs a redial. The dial should be a lovely shade of dark blue. I have no Idea what happened to this watch because the writing on the dial & the hands don't show signs of extreme water damage. Could simply be one of the worst "faded" dials that you have ever seen ? ( I suspect it was probably silver originally )

Any suggestions guys ?

I also bought a battered MK II Speedy to use the movement for my "Darth Maul" - which is also the watch that I have worn most this year.
Here's a link to my Darth Maul post

So that's it. 1 out & 4 in.

My targets for 2008 ?

I really don't have many watches that I am actively seeking. I'm concentrating more on improving the quality of my current collection.

S.
