Considering the events of late on some of the "other" forums I figured I would lay low here for a few weeks. Anyway I need some advice on how to remove the crown stem from a caliber 500. There doesn't seem to be a screw on the caliber that one would turn to remove it, instead there seems to be a small what I might call a pin with an inset middle that does not have a screw head. The hole in the middle is so small, it could be an "allen" wrench type head, but it just appears to be round. Do I push this in or am I completely in the wrong place to remove the stem?
Reason is that I recently picked up a cal. 500 watch and the crown is missing and the stem is broken at the crown tube, so it needs to be removed and replaced.
Any help is appreciated.
Mike
