That's a strange problem. Don't know what to tell you about it.

But you can take the watch to any authorized dealer or send it to the service center yourself. There are not a lot of service centers--only two major ones in the USA. Many dealers will send to the same service center, though some have an in-house service department that will do the work. Ask them before you leave the watch both where the work will be done and how long it should take.
