I echo the sentiments of the other posters.

I suspect the negative feedback you read was at that Omega Horror Stories website. I don't know what that guy's motivation is for that nasty site. I suspect he's on a power trip since he's received so many comments. I also suspect he's partially to blame for his watch leaking. The rest of the blame probably falls on his dealer for not repairing it properly, not Omega.

In any event, I've had no probs with my SeaPro ref. 2531.80. It's as waterproof as they come and the bracelet is amazing. I have even gone diving with it off Maui and Kauai to significant depths without a hitch. As with ANY watch, you simply need to make sure the crown is screwed down (a no-brainer, if you ask me) and have the seals checked every other year.
