In Response To: SMP Face ()

The SeMP Quartz has no Chronometer rating, therefore does not say "Chonometer" on the face. Though some quartz watches can have a Chonometer rating, it is different than Mechanical watches. The Chonometer tolerances for a Mechanical watch are -4/+6 seconds per day.

This is from the Omega FAQ:

What is the accuracy of a quartz and a mechanical movement ?

OMEGA is well known for its excellent quality and precise movements. The tolerances for OMEGA movements are:

Mechanical chronometer movements: -4/+6 seconds per day.

Non chronometer mechanical movements: about -7/+18 seconds per day.

Standard quartz movements: -0.3/+0.5 seconds per day.

All OMEGA watches are equipped with exclusive OMEGA movements, with circular grained rhodium-plated finish and Geneva waves decor.
