What additional information were you expecting and did you explicitly ask for it?

I also have an SMP. I personally don't care about knowing when it was manufactured. If its recent what difference does it make. If it turns out my 5 month old watch is really two years old, its only going to make me dissatisfied. My watch was in perfect condition when I received it and, after break in, is operating at less than 2 seconds fast per day. I'm extremely satisfied. The only purpose additional info could serve would be to reduce that satisfaction. Although I can be quite anal at times, I'm not that self destructive.
