Omega Quartz service :-(

I have the misfortune and lack of knowledge to send my 1992 SMP Quartz in for service to Omega in Lancaster in 99. In Sept of 00 I had to return it under repair warranty as it was running erratic. Omega "re-serviced" it and returned it. It's been running fine since. However the cost was in the $250 range. Expensive for a battery, gaskets and pressure test I cannot recommend Omega service in Lancaster to anyone wanting to keep their Omega looking/running good. As mine was returned with numerous scratches that it did not have before. However my complaints got the case and bracelet refinished on the second go around.
