Perhaps another manufacturer is the answer and some redials better than the ones pictured. On these its all wrong and if service no reason on these to use non service/ non original hands.
We may never get a definitive answer unless Jack or the Master can be 100%...But even then, doubts would persist as all other Heuer dials from other models have consistent tells to mark authenticity such as the "official" Monacos have...
The closest are 73633b with blue subs BUT these show enough issues to be doubtful whatever a letter may say from TH service dept imo.
Are there any among us who believe, even for a minute, that the
: types of dial shown below were ever used by Heuer in
: factory-produced Monacos? Characteristics of these 73633Bs are
: (a) waffle applied markers, (b) poor quality on the
: "Monaco" and the "Heuer" logo, (c) open
: "4"s on the hour and running second registers, (d)
: short hands, sometimes too thin, (e) blotchy printing on the
: regsiters, (f) messy lume dots or no dots at all, and (g) no
: "Tool 033" or "Heuer" logo on the case-back.
: OK, so if they were not produced by Heuer in this execution, where
: do we think they came from? What country / what era? Does it
: affect your thinking if someone were to report that the gasket
: on one of these seems very old, and has turned to the customary
: well-aged goop? Might they be service dials? Might they have
: been poor-quality dials that were rejected by Heuer, but then
: used by someone else.
: In simplest terms, my question is where do we think these
: dials came from?
: Thanks for any ideas.
