Dissapointing but par for the course at the world cup...think Seaman being lobbed v Brazil in the qtrs in Japan ( does that sound wrong?!)

We like to do things the hard way but frankly we had so many chances we should have won easily, not sure why the analysis post game saw it as close...but we will bounce back, either way we can beat Germany or Australia in the knock out phase, goalkeeping errors not withstanding...

Remember although Green is at fault and whilst we could all have saved that shot as a one off most of us would not save it 99 out of 100 times which a pro goaly would.

Life is like that sometimes, and as an England fan ultimately we are defined by bad luck and near misses, i have gotten used to doing things the hard way...character building i guess!

Who knows maybe getting the bad luck out of the way early doors may help later on...
