I will try to avoid sounding like someone who has drunken too much of the Twitter "coolade", but for vintage watches (and securities / corporate governance / corporate compliance), Twitter is absolutely fantastic. You can be as active or inactive as you like, but it is absolutely the fastest way of receiving information about the topics that you are interested in; yes, there is some noise in the background, but not at all bothersome to me. TweetDeck gives you a beautiful display, that really helps with this noise.

Notice in the Subject line of this message, I did not recommend that you "Tweet"; I am sure that most people who write message here would enjoy Tweeting, but you can also enjoy Twitter just by signing up, and following others. So no real "need to Tweet", if you prefer not to.

There are days [or I should say nights] when I watch Twitter almost in real-time; there are periods when I won't look at it for a week; but there are always interesting things to read and explore . . . 24/7/365!!
