That's interesting. Mine is black PVD, but it was badly scratched up, so I have sent the case away to be sandblasted - a coincidence that you say some have been seen 'blasted' before - I didn't know that!!
The white hand set is clearly original, and I'd love to find out about the markings. I've seen other Lemanias marked 'AF' followed by numerals, but they are SAAF watches (South African Air Force).

It will be interesting to see if any more information can be found.
