Hi, I don't think that story about an Israeli pilot is true.
The exact same watch was posted at this forum in 2009 http://www.chronocentric.com/forums/heuer/index.cgi?md=read;id=31865
The poster had just found it at a fleamarket, and wants to know more about the military marking.
Good news is that I am pretty shure it is issued to the South African Airforce. They use this AF + number marking and the use Lemania powered chronographs.
