Breitling's new Transocean looks a bit similar to the Top Time so that vintage model may have been an inspiration. This new model also comes in a panda dial version (black subdials) which you can see on their website. Here's Breitling's pic of the all black version, followed by my Datora from 1973 which also has a somewhat similar dial to the Top Time, albeit a different case style and a two register configuration (Valjoux 7734).
Here's my circa 1973 Breitling Datora
: I wrote a piece on this watch that was re-posted on Hodinkee a
: while back:

: I think it's a way undervalued collectible, contrasted with all
: this over-wrought obsession about "derek bells" and
: "sifferts" and "mcqueens". Clark was head
: and shoulders above all of them. His watch should have at least
: that amount of respect, no? Just shows, to me, that collectors
: are more swayed by marketing than they think they are. If
: Breitling re-issued the Top Time with Jim Clark photos, people
: would be all hot and bothered about them. As it is, they are not
: terribly sought after. And they are just as cool as an early
: Carrera, in my opinion. Though I do prefer the lug design of the
: carrera case.
