yes, it's a fun read, but my advice is not to study the text too closely and to keep a perspective on the watches. This is not an NOS collection . . . not many museum-quality pieces here. The way that I have been thinking about it is that "the collection reflects the collector", and in this instance, he may not have been up to prevailing OnTheDash / Chronocentric / VetroPlastica standards! Some nice pieces; some that will fall far below our collective standards.

I expect to write more about this "perspective" later this evening.
