I have to stick up for quartz, I am a big Casio G-shock fan. I'm not going to go surfing or rock climbing with a vintage Heuer -it's always a g-shock when the watch needs to be expendable. As tool watches they are superb. Tough and functional. If we were judging only on functionality they would have to win as a tool watch. But obviously that is not all I look for (or any of us on the forum)......
