I thought you may be interested to see this additional pic of the dial.

As you can see the dial and hands are in need of TLC. The movement (and dial) appears to have been left uncovered for a very long time in a dirty environment and needs cleaning.

I would be interested to hear if anyone knows of any specialists who have the ability to do this sort of work. I am looking for a gentle non invasive cleaning which will enhance and preserve what exists ( definitely not a redial ! ).

The movement appears to be in good working order - it ticks away happily and keeps good time but does of course need a complete strip, clean etc.
