I can't say that I know much about this [or really anything at all], but someone had just suggested that auction houses often accept bids for the unsold items for a day or so after the end of the auction.

So if you wanted to bid, but were unable to do so, might be timely to contact Bonhams / submit a bid. Move quickly!!
