Very low tactics imho....

Sorry to hear of your ebay loss Rob, after reading the above posts by Darren and Jeff, it seems like i should stop using ebay searches in the faint hope of ever securing a Heuer Monaco or like-wise bargain, its impossible to compete against deeper pockets at the best of times but after-sale shenanigans.

Might as well stop looking now if all that will ever happen is to have the rug pulled out from under your feet once the initial joy has subsided.

I'd really hate to think regulars to this forum are using these tactics after the sale, its bang out of order and spoils the whole community spirit, i was genuinely pleased for Rob getting a watch he wanted at a great price or thinking he had, as i have many times previously with other members, i cannot understand how people can be pleased to secure watches this way at the expense of others??.

Totally fine to try to secure a watch before the auction has ended but never afterwards once a deal has been done like in this case.

James.
