the thoughts are obervations from watch world: and its good we discuss this here :

so to confirm:

- an assmbled watch from NOS parts is NOT NOS: I fully agree on this. I would also not rate this MINT (!)

- one single part exchanged like a bezel is NOT NOS anymore: I fully agree on this

- I am in favour of a sticker: so here we have no consensus

- And I do favour transport purple wax: this in my eyes is THE ultimate indicator at least

Concerning movements: I see this in line with the parts exchanged: if movement is assambled from NOS to build a
NOS watch or to make it "more NOS" , its NOT NOS anymore: fully agree on this. Even a serviced movement is for me NOT NOS watch anymore.

So I believe if this is all of our standard: than 20-40 % of all watches sold are not NOS anymore: at least I know of many who have been from parts or single parts changed or have been somehow refurbishe: even a small polishing of sidelines or whatsoveer: NOT NOS anymore: at least for me.
