Thanks Shaun,

and please... i hope nobody has the feeling my post has any intention to draw you into Rolex!!!

I am very, very passionate about vintage Rolex. Enjoyed many meetings .... fantastic rare watches etc.
But most important.. i love the world behind collecting. Making a lot of nice friends all over the world.

People who are sharing their passion and are enjoying a company of people where they can live their hobby. But also share way more...

Comex is a nice theme ... i like them. I have owned like 4 of them. More then a logo on a dial....

A 5513 real early Comex i have owned.
ANd some fantastic meeting with friends.. which was the greatest blast... and some light night fun. Sorry we are a bit crazy. Maybe we take our hobby to far LOOL

A place close the home of Comex..

But also the Military history of Rolex is more then interesting.
I ones had the great privilege to buy a Milsub directly from an original owner. Who was in action with SBS and SAS missions.
Scarry stories... and what stories these watches tell.

That is the way i found mine... and after some TLC...

And even there are freaks.. meeting ... and enjoying this part of Rolex history very widely!

As you i was total against Rolex. I did not like all the image.. people who show off...
But found that in the vintage world most people i met are in there for the history and emotion. And very relaxed.

I am sure with Heuer might have a wider target group. But sure for vintage Heuer.... you are all as passionate about it. And it's lifestyle. They are such cool designs.

How is it in the Heuer world. Do you guys meet often????? Like Paneristi?
