...I have to agree with the basic premise of the article. The brands that advertise in the Racing world like Hublot, IWC, Blankpain etc don't seem to be interested in promoting Stainless Steel Tool Watches (racing tool watches). As the author says, the Lewis Hamilton suit printed IWC Pilot, although stainless steel is not a racing tool watch.
TAG Heuer might be a slight exception but they actually seem to go the other way to the cheap end and promote the quartz part of the line as well as the mechanical chronos.
