I don't follow F1 since...

... when they started with this new 1,5 engine "powerunit".

I'm too old for all this electronic.

And, IMHO, watches died in 1985.
So, no problem for me!
See a watch printed on a glove summarizes what sucks the F1 today!
I know a lot of F1 today drivers since karting time. In the last 3 years only Verstappen deserves F1.
The rest arrives only thanks money!

: Weird posting -- The Death Of The Classic Sports Watch In F1,
: And Other Lessons From The Italian Grand Prix .

: The posting loses credibility with the statement that the Rolex
: Daytona was the most iconic racing watch of the 1960s. Tell me
: exactly how many of these Rolexes we saw on the wrists of the
: 1960s racers?

: Of course, based on our own observations and searches of photo
: databases, we know that the racers were wearing Heuers more than
: any other brand, including Rolex.
