The old universal geneve polerouter used to have a micro rotor movement which is said as good,I am sure it is the case of the new ones. However that movement will never match the Omega and Rolex quality.
The new chronos are using the lemania 1873 movement the same movement found in the speedies as compared to the past where universals space compax, compax and tri compax chronos used inhouse chrono and valjoux 72 modified chrono movements.
That is all I know about Universal.
