A Strap/Clasp Suggestion for your Ericmaster...

In Response To: As the end of the year approaches (Hewybaby)

I think I will only post my favorite purchase of this year. It would not be the watch I wore the most this year (that title still remains with my 1972 Speedmaster Pro.), but I have been wearing it for almost everyday now for the past several weeks since I purchased it. I must admit that I was not looking for one of these, but was exposed to many pictures of the watch on another forum.

Smile... I knew what was coming when I got to that point on the olé iPhone!

I then stumbled on one for sale for a very good price and pulled the trigger. This one is special.....

I show my wife every new watch that I purchase and her response is always the same "Looks like all your other watches...". But with this one she surprised me ... "Oh, thats nice. Looks different than the other watches".

That's too funny. I always show my sister all of my new acquisitions too, and a lot of times she'll say "Don't you already have one of these" and I have to explain some subtile difference or distinction. But with some of them she'll say "I like that one... You keep on shuffling around my favorites list!"...

I am still hunting for the correct bracelet and endlinks.

Joe, I've wanted to thank you for your participation here. We'd love to have more traffic here and we're working towards that goal, but we don't feel like it's friendly or gentlemanly to recruit or advertise, it's not neighborly.

But I do have a suggestion for an alternative while you look for appropriate end pieces for your "Ericmaster [Blue]"... In fact, I have my 176.007 [Blue] on this combination...

Go to Ron Sabo's International Watchman site and take a gander at his "Quick Release XL Sharkskin Calf" straps...

Get yourself you choice of deployant clasp:
And maybe get yourself a Springbar Assortment:
Just because they are so handy to have around... You'll probably spend less than $50, you'll have a strap that will match the two shades of Blue on the dial [if you get the blue strap that is!] magnificently!
This is the combination I have my "Ericmaster" on and I like it better than a bracelet.

Happy holidays!!

If you talk to Ron, tell him I said "Hi!"...

I'll try to post some pictures of my example in the next few days on this strap.

Cheers!
