So, it looks like Omega are indeed being flexible in this regard, which is good. The whole situation does seem a little silly, given that the individual branches probably don't all deal with Omega direct.

I got the impression that these things are more to do with issues of location, and proximity to another dealer. For example, in Cambridge we have the AD Mappin & Webb. Goldsmiths are not very far away, which perhaps explains why they are not given AD status, to preserve the apparent exclusivity of the main AD.

In your case, the obvious first step is to contact your dealer and ask them to send the watch off to Omega for repair; let us know what they say.
