Re: Maybe I'm confused
In Response To: Maybe I'm confused ()

I do love it when a lawyer says 'Maybe I am confused'!!

I dunno either!

As I said I am only quoting the Lang. Book which is pretty accurate on evrything else??

I don't know if you have both types of Carrera but they really are different in size and the Dato 45 is a real specialist watch mostly seen as a Race track sponsor give away. Maybe Heuer just stumbled on that market, maybe interest in the Sponsor versions created enough interest.

The L.189 movement and date configeration is pretty weird and I have only seen it in Omega Seamasters from the 50's and that Dato.

Mine was military but short timer chronos were often used by the military for gun timing of crews on ships and artlillery batteries.

Anyway could result in an interesting string!

Regards

Alistair
