That one is not a 'these things happen' problems that I tell people to relax about. Its a 'somebody screwed up' issue that should be addressed.

I would send it back over that issue myself. It should not have left the factory with noticable flaws like that.

I'd also check to see of you still have the red dot on the back of the case along the edge where the back plate meets the case. If not, then it may be a sign that that watch was repaired by an unauthorized repair person who scratched the hands while removing them.
