I would never wear a Link series watch, ever! I don't like the design. But I do own a TAG Heuer that I wear a lot. I work as a photojournalist and need a watch I dont need to worry about. I always seems to scratch the crystal on my vintage Heuer if I wear them at work. The solution for me was to buy a used TAG Heuer 2000 automatic chronograph from the late 1990's. It is powered by a Valjoux 7750, has mineral glass, and I like the black and white dial.
While i don't like the Link, I think the Aquaracer, and Carrera Chronograph line is ok.
