Hello Guys,
I was fortunate to mispend my youth watching groups such as The Beatles, Stones, Cream, Yardbirds, Pink Floyd, Ten Years After, Jeff Beck, Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green etc. LIVE.
Often at small venues, with small amplifiers, small audiences but big, big sound. You heard it, you felt it, you sweated it and were deaf for days afterwards. Vinyl, cassette, CD or whatever does not even come close. At best a 1960's mono vinyl LP on a good system with ample volume can give you the feel. As someone has already said music and watches are about what makes you feel good. It is a very personal thing.
I love and collect Heuer digital watches but I don't wear them. They don't feel good on the wrist and just don't look good on my small wrist. I wear a Braun DW20 designed by Dieter Rams in 1977. Why? Because it makes me feel good.
