Not really any problem at all. I have found at a shooting session lasting a long time, several hours, that when I try to see in the distance, that my eyes have a hard time adjusting quickly. I think that is due to old age and too much computer time viewing things up close. LOL
Acutally, I find it easier to focus in the macro mode through the lens rather than on the LCD of the Coolpix.
Suggest you take a watch to a good camera store and get the D70 set up with a macro lens and experiment on the counter. Take your own CF card to save your pics for posting here.
