Does anyone have a copy of the manual for the 1964 Carrera Re-edition. I bought this watch today and in the box was the manual for the Calibre 17. This is my first chronograph and after reading a lot of the posts in here, I'm amazed at the history behind this watch. I've asked the retailers to contact TAG-Heuer regarding a manual but I was wondering if someone could help me out. I might somewhere, but it would take me some time to find and scan in...
However, there is an easier and quicker way to get the information you need. The manual wind version of the Carrera Re-Edition uses the Lemania 1873 movement as it's base. The same base movement powers the Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch. In fact, both watches also share a similar crystal material and W/R rating so you can nearly literally use the instruction manuals interchangably...

Forgive the simple question but do I require to hand wind this watch? If so, how often do I do this? Also when I'm winding the crown, I experience a slight ratchet movement - is this normal or does this signify that the watch is fully wound? Normal... The mechanism actually acts like a ratchet, the watch is technically only wound in one direction, but the ratchet mechanism is included to provide feedback to the winder.
