I see the Lamania powered Silverstones offered in the 1300 to 1500 euro price range, but I have not seen these sales in the 2000 euro range. here is a current ebay Italy auction, sitting at 1300 euro.

I like these watches, and own one myself (shown below), but I cannot recall seeing one sell over $2000, at least recently. do you have auctions / listings that show something different?

you Jeff. i've never seen one for 2000euros. seen a very wishful listing or two but never a sale. now maybe in another 5 years or whatever we will see them go regulary at that, but for now...i don't see it happening and i follow most heuer models (including these 5100 silverstones) very closely all around the world on dealer sites, sales corners, and ebay in every country.

I would tend to agree with both of you. Yes, Silverstones do not come cheap these days, Lemania based Silverstones especially so. 1,300€-1,500€ is equivilent to $1,500-$1,800 or so, 2,000€ is over $2,400. While I will be first to admit I haven't been watching the micro-rotor movement Silverstone's very closely at all, I'd've noticed a $2,400+ 5100 (or 5012) Based Silverstone's sale.

I'd hasten to mention, that there is often a sizeable gap between asking/seeking price and actual paid street price. One only has to look at some of the exceptionally optimistic BuyItNow offerings for Heuer's on eBay to see this phenomina...
