First Chronograph in Space

After all the stir about the "first Swiss watch in space" (the Heuer stopwatch worn by John Glenn, in February 1962 and "discovered" in July 2006), I decided that I needed to try a sample of the "first chronograph worn in space" (the Breitling Cosmonaute worn by Scott Carpenter, in May 1962).

It arrived today, and was a thrill to behold as I opened the box. It's my first Navitimer / Cosmonaute; described to me as a "very early Cosmonaute" . . . from the Scott Carpenter era.

Quick and dirty photo shown below. It also came with a story, to be told sometime soon.
