Fangio's Maserati *PIC*
In Response To: Fangio's Carrera ? ? ? ()

I don't know about Juan's Carrera but I can tell you he certainly does make the cut for "Legend".

Here he is shown driving his Maserati 250F in the 1957 Nurburgring Grand Prix where he won his 5th!! World Championship after leading the Ferrari's of Hawthorn and Collins.

I will admit that I find the new black face Carrera model somewhat appealing. It might make my list but certainly below quite a few other purchases.

PS This Nicholas Watts print #197/500 in addition to the artist's remark in the lower left, is also SIGNED by the Champion himself in the lower right. I won this at an auction at the Watkins Glen Inernational racing museum. It was a very fun(albeit expensive) evening.
