Reference No. and Serial No. are Both Between the Lugs

Both the reference number and the serial number are usually marked between the lugs, but let's emphasize the word "usually".

Missing numbers could mean either: (a) Heuer didn't put the numbers on the case, which seems to have happened on occasion, or (b) the numbers could have been lost when the case was polished (which may be a bit of good news, if you prefer the stainless steel version).

Nice looking watch, either way!!
