Thanks for all your responses.

I have emailed Omega and posed the question to them. The dealer says that all the products sold through their stores carry a full manufacturer warranty, but only one store is listed. Mine isn't so I will be mightily annoyed if I find out they won't honour the warranty, I would imagine your average person on the street is ignorant to this little loophole.
