Re: Rolex Vs Omega the eternal question

Hi!

I agree with you. Rolex has fantastic watches, but they are not apreciated by the watch lovers. I mean: The people "just arrived", or as we call in Spain "new rich", just buy a Rolex but they do not have idea about what is a tachymeter, a bezel, or GMT. The just buy a Rolex because it is expensive and well-known all over the world.

It is just my opinion, but Omega makes watches very smart, with style, mixturing tradition with new technologies. Omega is like a Harley Davidson, traditional but at the same time, on top technology.

So, better than a Rolex, my next buy will be an IWC, Patek or Chopard. ¿Rolex? If I would buy one, each minute of my life had to be explaining that it is not an imitation, that it costed me xxxxx dollars... I don´t like to be in the point of attention.

Best regards!

Jose
