I've heard about (and seen a photo of) Fangio wearing a Carrera when he visited Grands Prix in the late 60s. So the Fangio / Carrera chrono connection seems ok. Now, the Fangio / Targa Florio chrono ad campaign ticked me off a bit! :)

Didn't Jack Heuer choose the name Carrera after Seppi telling him tales of the Carrera Pan Americana?

As for the new Carrera Auto Tachy? I'm undecided about the watch - I know I don't fancy the bracelet much!
