Re: Does this count?

I would just like to compliment Jeff, Mark and the other contributors on recent efforts to update the OTD site and to keep the forum full of stimulating and educational content. Marks serial number analysis is amazing and I will savour this over the weekend.
I put this example forward as a cousin or step brother. Call it what you will but in my opinion it is a Carrera in all but name. It has all the original Carrera 1153S components including case, dial, hands and calibre 12 movement. Name changes include the watchmaker school name on the dial and Hamilton on the bridge.
I like it because it is unusual and rare - two criteria I have used when building my collection. As far as I am aware, the other known example (silver dial with grey accents) was sold in the Bonhams/Haslinger collection sale in December 2010.

regards
Paul
