Why? There aren't many SMP fakes and those
that are, you can tell very easily they are
fakes on closer inspection.

The reason why is because of its price point. A real Seamaster Pro can be had for what a "very good"fake (if there is such a thing) Rolex will cost. Around $700- $1000.00. I would lean toward calling such a fake, and they do exist, a "high priced" fake as opposed to a "very good"
fake. They can easily be spotted by people who know Rolexes just as fake SMPs can be spotted by people who know Omegas.

Incidently whenever I see an SMP or Sub, because of the many lookalikes out there from the Dakota Watch Company in the malls, to Costco, to Sams, etc. I sometimes dismiss them as legitimate watches but lookalikes from another company.

Complete and utter BS. If you had said "Science proves that there really is a Santa Claus who rides through the air on a reindeer guided sleigh, and the world is in fact flat" it would not have been more ridiculous than your prior statement. You don't know much about fake watches do you?

Omegas are great watches. But themisinformation on this board is epidemic.
