: Hi Chuck,
: In cases like this, for "outsiders"
: like me it is better to not say anything,
: since it could make matters worse. But I
: have seen too many people leaving many
: forums because of a misunderstanding and I
: miss thier posts and I wouln't like to see
: it happen in our little community. Everyone
: has something to offer and none is spare.
: It is a good thing you didn't delete the post,
: although you could. It shows straightness.
: But I believe the tone of your message was a
: bit too harsh. You reacted like AMH
: intentionaly tried to damage Hans
: reputation, which I believe is not the case.
: If someone makes a mistake according to the
: rules of the forum, I think it is better to
: just kindly point the mistake.
: Hans may be well known and very dear to you
: (and many others), but that should not mean
: different standards. Whould you react like
: that if the question was about someone you
: have never heard of?
: What if someone has a bad experience with
: someone you know and respect very much? Is
: one allowed to post such experiences or
: would they be considered as aspersion?
: I'm not saying you are wrong (just overreacting
: a bit), and I do get your point about
: carelessly questioning someones integrity.
: I'm just refering to you because as
: moderator, you have more power here and it
: is more up to you to resolve this
: misunderstanding. Please do so.
: Hell, it's not MY forum, and I do care if we
: lose a member, don't you?
: Best regards
Thanks good work I did not see it a overly bad threat to somebodies dignity. But maybe we you Kav and i do not know that these guys ( Chuck and AMH) have a long relationship. Because it over the top.
But I do know for sure I have heard much worse things said on this site about watch makers I do not even know in other parts of the world. So I thought it was a bit harsh also; and tried to put it to bed by just blowing it off as a bad day. As I know this is VERY BAD for this hole comunity. If I where to find this site now and read this BS I would just skip it by. Its like a bad Ebay deal!
Very Sorry to see one get so worked up.
I think Jeff should deleat the hole post all of ours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The owner got his info. I say "DELEAT delete THIS CRAP". And No more words about any precived fakes from anywhere in the world.
I know some of you who do not know or work with me have trouble with my posts ( i do too sence my stroke, and not my 1st language) But I have no problem with it because I know I do not have comebacks and have a gift for this type of works -
