: Ok, so I'v been reading messages in this thread
: for a couple of days and still can't
: understand this luminova bleeding. Can
: someone explain it to me? I keep looking at
: my new SMP and can't see any faults on the
: dial. Nor do I feel that the red tip is any
: ticker than the rest of the second hand.
: What are you guys talking about?

The bleed varies in the range of Seamasters. That's why I consider it rather a "QC" problem (quality checking at the factory ) than an engineering problem. You will see sharp edges, but "in" some markers there is uneven superluminova distribution and coating.

: Also, please enligthen me on what's so terrible
: wrong with friction pins! I'v never had a
: watch bracelet break because of them and I'v
: got eight years of day and night wear
: experience.

Same here. This complete point is a waiste. The Omega braclet, also the Bond styled one, holds like a truck, unless you might have the earliest version. You never know if a pin or else has been improved....
