Hi Mathew.
Well, in a previous career branch I did work as a photographer, but...
The camera is a Fujifilm 4700 in macro mode, sunlight through the window, camera resting on the desk [hence the parallax error visible with the bezel and the dial markings].
The autofocus certainly works ok!
That is about as close as I can get it to focus- also that was _not_ on highest rez setting.
But for the benefit of anyone who isn't on the end of dsl/cable...keep the image size down below a Meg.

I only noticed the scratch after I took the picture...
