Agree, some strange looking dials for sure, the last one had no case sticker and had a mch more worn case, but as you say at least it looked "right" and achieved a reasonable price. I think if the auction house had taken the trouble to record more pictures (rear and side shots) and better quality ones then the results would have certainly been higher. It was buyer beware and i most certainly was...!

: Monacos had some funky colors. I remember my very first run
: through the photos . . . when I arrived at Lot 32, I thought,
: "This is the only one that really looks normal".
: Perhaps this explains its achieving the "normal" price
: of 5,400 Euro. Not a record setter, but a solid performer in a
: field of weak Monacos.
