: The Monaco wasn't launched until 1969, which is why Richard has
: commented as he did. The first Monacos had the Chronomatic
: movement, also introduced in 1969 and one of the best-documented
: launches we had, with the fanfare over it being (one of) the
: first automatic chronograph movement plus the fact that the
: movement was shared with other luminaries of the watch world,
: such as Breitling.
